Local bank details, account holder name, and transaction records in MYR (RM) for deposit and withdrawal purposes.

In-platform activity records such as pages visited, session duration, bets placed, and features used to improve our services.
We only collect information necessary for the stated purposes. We do not collect sensitive data such as national ID numbers unless required for identity verification during fund withdrawals.

Every piece of information we collect is used for a specific and limited purpose. klia1 does not use your data for anything unrelated to platform operations.
Verifying your identity at login, processing deposits and withdrawals in RM, managing your betting history, and delivering platform functionality to you.
Detects suspicious activity, prevents fraud, protects your account from unauthorised access, and maintains platform integrity.
Analyses usage patterns to improve the interface, introduce relevant new features, and ensure the platform runs smoothly across all devices.

All connections between your device and the klia1 platform use SSL/TLS protocols to ensure your data cannot be intercepted by third parties. Passwords are stored in a hashed format that cannot be decrypted — meaning even internal staff cannot view your original password.
Klia1 does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share limited information only in the following circumstances:
- Payment service providers required to process your RM transactions
- Legal authorities where required under Malaysian law
- Third-party providers that support the technical operations of the platform, subject to strict confidentiality agreements
Active account data is retained for as long as your account remains active. Once an account is closed, we retain data required for legal compliance for a set period — typically seven years for financial records under Malaysian regulatory requirements. Data that is no longer needed will be deleted or anonymised on a periodic basis.
In the event of a security incident involving user data, klia1 will take immediate action to contain the incident and notify affected users within a reasonable timeframe. We will also report the incident to the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
Your Rights as a User
